You may apply at 17 years of age, but you must be 18 years old before you can be registered as an apprentice.

What prior education do I need to qualify?
You must provide one of the following:

- Or a letter from a high school counselor stating you are on track to graduate this school year
Your documentation must also show successful completion of Algebra I or Algebra II (any level) with a passing grade.
Can I apply with a prior criminal record?
Yes. A criminal record does not prevent you from applying or qualifying for the apprenticeship program.

- Work on specific projects, job sites, or for certain employers
These factors are outside the control of the apprenticeship program.
When do you accept applications?
