Virtual Journeyman Continuing Education Course (VJCEC) requirements and conduct policy
In an effort to offer as many continuing education courses as possible, the Des Moines Electrical Apprenticeship Training Trust has created the following requirements and policy.
Technical Requirements:
Participants must have the following in order to participate in any virtual training courses.

Participant Policy
The Des Moines Electrical Apprenticeship Training Trust has been approved by the Iowa Electrical Examining Board (IEEB) to hold online courses. The requirements set forth by the IEEB are designed to ensure that the courses offered are equivalent to in-person training. Therefore, in order to assure that we are able to continue offering these courses the trustees have put in place the following policy.
10. Cellphones are not allowed to be used as your video conferencing device . You must use a PC or Mac computer, Ipad, Chromebook or Microsoft Surface device for the class.
Any blatant or obvious disregard for the participation requirements of the VJCEC will result in no credit given for the class and a 6 month ban from any additional VJCECs.

By submitting this form, I hereby acknowledge that I have read, understand and can achieve the aforementioned technical requirements. Furthermore, I agree to the participant policy for on-line continuing education courses. I also understand that the above rules are a guide and not all inclusive, therefore I am expected to conduct myself in a professional manner at all times while participating in a virtual classroom. I further understand that if I fail to follow the policy my VJCEC privileges will be suspended. I further indemnify and hold harmless the Des Moines Electrical Training Trust for any wrongdoing on my part, or that of another participant, while attending a virtual class.
